Refund Policy
Effective date: July 16, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when you can request a refund for a subscription payment made on billypaid.com or the associated application at app.billypaid.com (together, the “Service”). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Subscription billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual). You can cancel at any time from your account settings; canceling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of a canceled subscription except as described below.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you upgrade to a paid plan and it isn’t right for you, request a refund within 14 days of your first payment on that plan and we’ll refund it in full, no questions asked.
Duplicate charges and accidental purchases are always eligible for a full refund, regardless of when they’re reported.
Renewals
Refunds for a subscription renewal (a charge after the initial 14-day window) are handled case by case. If you were charged after canceling, or a renewal was clearly made in error, contact us and we’ll make it right.
How to request a refund
Send a refund request through our contact page. Please include the email address on your account and, where possible, your receipt or the Stripe transaction reference. We aim to respond within a few business days.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider, Stripe. It can take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Client payments are separate
This policy covers what you pay BillyPaid for your subscription. It does not cover payments your clients make to you through invoices sent via the Service, those are your transactions with your client, processed by Stripe or PayPal, and any refund to a client is something you issue directly.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where such laws grant you a stronger right, that right prevails.
